- Oversee daily operations of Amazon’s third‑party seller platform, ensuring seamless product listings, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase sales velocity, market share, and profitability across assigned categories.
- Lead a cross‑functional team of account managers, analysts, and support specialists, providing coaching, performance feedback, and career development.
- Monitor key performance indicators such as conversion rate, average order value, and customer satisfaction, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and supply‑chain partners to launch promotions, seasonal campaigns, and new product introductions.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate terms, and resolve escalated issues to maintain high service standards.
- Conduct data‑driven analysis to identify trends, forecast demand, and recommend pricing or assortment adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with Amazon policies, marketplace regulations, and relevant legal requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing e‑commerce operations or marketplace seller accounts, preferably within a large retail or technology organization.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and profitability targets.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, or business intelligence tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment and make decisions with limited information.
Desired Skills
- Experience with Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central, or other marketplace platforms.
- Familiarity with digital advertising, SEO, and content optimization for e‑commerce.
- Knowledge of logistics, fulfillment, and inventory management systems.
- Leadership experience in building and scaling high‑performing teams.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Scrum) is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position in the Seattle metropolitan area is $95,000 to $130,000, dependent on experience and qualifications. Amazon offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) matching; paid parental leave; employee stock purchase plan; tuition assistance; and generous paid time off. Additional performance‑based bonuses and restricted stock units may be awarded.
