- Design, develop, and deploy scalable statistical models and machine learning pipelines that address complex business problems across advertising, search, and cloud services.

- Partner with product managers, engineers, and analysts to define experiment frameworks, formulate hypotheses, and evaluate A/B test results.
- Implement robust data‑engineering workflows, ensuring data quality, reproducibility, and compliance with privacy standards.
- Publish research findings in internal forums and, when appropriate, external conferences or journals to contribute to the broader scientific community.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the continuous improvement of best practices, coding standards, and analytical methodologies.

Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience applying statistical modeling, machine learning, or deep learning techniques to large‑scale data sets.
- Proficiency in Python or R, with solid experience using libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn, and pandas.
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with big‑data platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Spark, Hadoop).
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of delivering production‑ready models that drive measurable business impact.

Desired Skills
- Experience with cloud‑based ML services (Google Cloud AI Platform, Vertex AI).
- Knowledge of causal inference, reinforcement learning, or natural language processing.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines for model deployment.
- Contributions to open‑source projects or publications in top‑tier conferences.

- Base salary range: $130,000 to $210,000 annually, depending on experience and location (San Francisco Bay Area).
