Key Responsibilities
- Provide first‑line technical assistance to internal development teams, troubleshooting build, asset pipeline, and runtime issues on Windows, macOS, and console platforms.
- Maintain and improve internal tooling (e.g., continuous integration systems, version‑control hooks, automated testing frameworks) to increase developer productivity.
- Collaborate with engineers, artists, and designers to reproduce bugs, gather detailed logs, and drive timely resolutions.
- Create and update documentation, knowledge‑base articles, and standard operating procedures for support workflows.
- Participate in on‑call rotations, responding to critical production incidents and coordinating cross‑functional response efforts.
- Assist in the onboarding of new studios and external partners, ensuring they have access to required development environments and resources.
- Contribute to post‑mortem analyses and propose process enhancements to prevent recurrence of recurring issues.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on support or engineering experience in a game development environment.
- Strong proficiency with C++, C#, Python, or similar scripting languages used for tooling.
- Deep understanding of build systems (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity, Buildbot) and version‑control platforms such as Perforce or Git.
- Experience diagnosing performance, memory, and crash issues on PC and console platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tickets in a fast‑paced environment.

Desired Skills
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine, Unity, or proprietary game engines.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and multiplayer debugging tools.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud services (AWS, Azure) for build pipelines.
- Prior exposure to Agile or Scrum development processes.
- Passion for gaming and a strong sense of community support.

Compensation & Benefits
- Annual base salary range: $95,000 – $130,000, dependent on experience and location (Los Angeles, CA).
