Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities For Junior Business Development Representative
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities through research, outbound calls, email outreach, and social selling.
- Qualify leads by assessing fit, need, and decision‑making authority, and move them into the sales pipeline.
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand prospects’ challenges and articulate how HubSpot’s solutions can address them.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of all activities, contacts, and pipeline stages in the CRM system.
- Collaborate closely with senior Business Development Representatives and Account Executives to ensure seamless hand‑offs and shared insights.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly activity metrics, including call volume, email outreach, and qualified opportunities generated.
- Participate in regular training sessions, role‑plays, and product deep‑dives to continuously improve sales techniques and product knowledge.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone presence.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot CRM, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High level of motivation, resilience, and a willingness to learn and adapt.

Desired Skills
- Prior experience with inbound/outbound prospecting or lead generation.
- Familiarity with SaaS products or technology‑focused industries.
- Ability to analyze data and extract insights to improve outreach effectiveness.
- Experience using social selling platforms such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.

Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $58,000 – $78,000 annually, depending on experience and location.
On‑target earnings (OTE) are uncapped and include quarterly commissions and performance bonuses.
