Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities For Junior Compensation Analyst (WFH)
- Assist in the collection, analysis, and reporting of compensation data for internal and external benchmark studies.
- Support the preparation of salary structure recommendations, ensuring alignment with market trends and internal equity guidelines.
- Maintain and update compensation databases, ensuring data integrity and timely entry of new hire, promotion, and merit increase information.
- Participate in the execution of annual compensation cycles, including merit planning, bonus allocations, and equity award processing.
- Generate standard and ad‑hoc reports for HR business partners and senior leadership, highlighting trends, gaps, and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as HRIS, Finance, and Talent Acquisition to resolve data discrepancies and improve processes.
- Provide day‑to‑day support for employee compensation inquiries, delivering clear and accurate information.
- Contribute to the development and documentation of compensation policies, procedures, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in compensation analysis, HR analytics, or a comparable analytical role.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas).
- Familiarity with compensation software or HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data findings to non‑technical audiences.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Desired Skills
- Experience with statistical analysis tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or R.
- Knowledge of market compensation survey providers (e.g., Mercer, Radford, Willis Towers Watson).
- Understanding of federal and state compensation compliance regulations.
- Ability to think critically and propose process improvements.
