Key Responsibilities
- Execute functional, regression, usability, and performance testing on native iOS, Android, and cross‑platform mobile applications.
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts in alignment with product requirements and design specifications.
- Identify, document, and track defects using Azure DevOps, providing clear reproduction steps and severity assessments.
- Partner closely with product managers, developers, UX designers, and automation engineers to ensure quality is built in from the outset.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives, to provide testing insights and risk assessments.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, metrics, and best practices, advocating for automation where appropriate.
- Support release readiness by conducting final acceptance testing and verifying compliance with accessibility and security standards.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 3 years of hands‑on mobile application testing experience, preferably with both iOS and Android platforms.
- Proficiency in using testing tools such as Appium, XCUITest, Espresso, and device farms.
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, network conditions, and device fragmentation challenges.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools, especially Azure DevOps or JIRA.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex issues to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Desired Skills
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated mobile tests into build processes.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, or Bash) for test data generation and utility creation.
- Exposure to performance testing tools such as Firebase Test Lab or Charles Proxy.
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG, Section 508) and security testing for mobile apps.
- Prior experience working in an Agile Scrum environment and collaborating with distributed teams.

- Annual base salary range: $85,000 to $115,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
