Key Responsibilities For Order Management Specialist (Remote)
- Oversee the end‑to‑end order lifecycle, including order entry, validation, allocation, and shipment coordination for a high‑volume product catalog.
- Monitor order status dashboards, identify exceptions, and proactively resolve issues such as inventory shortages, payment discrepancies, or shipping delays.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional partners—fulfillment centers, transportation, customer service, and finance—to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Conduct root‑cause analyses on recurring order problems and develop process improvements to reduce error rates and enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including export controls, tax requirements, and data privacy standards.
- Generate regular performance reports, highlighting key metrics such as order cycle time, fulfillment accuracy, and customer satisfaction trends.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex order inquiries, providing clear communication to internal teams and external customers.
- Participate in system testing and rollout of new order management tools, offering feedback to product and engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in order management, supply chain operations, or e‑commerce fulfillment.
- Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with ERP or order management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Amazon’s internal platforms).
- Ability to work independently while meeting strict deadlines and handling multiple priorities.

- Experience with Amazon Marketplace or other large‑scale e‑commerce platforms.
- Knowledge of SQL or data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) for reporting and analysis.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or other process‑improvement methodologies.
