- Prepare, review, and post journal entries ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Reconcile balance‑sheet accounts, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in month‑end and quarter‑end close processes, including the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Conduct detailed account analysis for expense, revenue, and cost‑of‑goods‑sold accounts to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Support internal and external audit activities by supplying documentation, explanations, and corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain and improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and documentation to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as Treasury, Tax, and Business Operations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Utilize Intuit’s ERP system (NetSuite) and other financial tools to automate routine tasks and generate standard reports.
- Prepare ad‑hoc financial analyses and special projects as directed by senior finance leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA designation preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a technology or SaaS environment.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and account reconciliation processes.
- Proficiency with cloud‑based ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Workday) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non‑financial partners.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fully remote setting while meeting deadlines and maintaining high quality.
