- Lead a geographically dispersed team of analysts, coordinators, and specialists to ensure seamless day‑to‑day operational execution for Amazon Web Services (AWS) support functions.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve standard operating procedures, performance dashboards, and escalation pathways to meet service‑level agreements (SLAs).
- Partner with product, engineering, and finance stakeholders to translate business goals into actionable operational plans and resource forecasts.
- Monitor real‑time metrics, identify trends, and drive root‑cause analyses that result in measurable improvements in reliability, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage vendor relationships and third‑party service providers, negotiating contracts and overseeing compliance with Amazon’s security and quality standards.
- Conduct regular virtual team meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions to maintain high engagement and professional development.
- Prepare and present operational health reports to senior leadership, highlighting risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
- Champion a culture of data‑driven decision making, continuous learning, and Amazon’s leadership principles across the remote team.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing operations in a fast‑paced, technology‑focused environment, with at least 2 years in a remote or distributed team setting.
- Proven track record of leading process improvement initiatives that delivered measurable cost savings or performance gains.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, Tableau, or similar data‑visualization tools; ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into action.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, capable of collaborating with senior leaders and cross‑functional partners globally.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and thrive under ambiguity.

Desired Skills

- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related operational frameworks.
- Knowledge of ITIL, Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous‑improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with project‑management platforms such as Jira, Asana, or Trello.
- Certification in PMP, Six Sigma Green Belt, or AWS Operations.
- Fluency in a second language to support international operations.

Compensation & Benefits

- Base salary range: $115,000 to $150,000 per year, dependent on experience, location, and internal equity.
