Key Responsibilities - Key Responsibilities For Remote Research Assistant
- Conduct literature reviews, data collection, and preliminary analysis to support senior researchers on interdisciplinary projects.
- Design and execute surveys, experiments, and user studies, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and data‑privacy regulations.
- Prepare clean, well‑documented datasets using Python, R, or SQL, and perform basic statistical testing and visualization.
- Summarize findings in concise reports, slide decks, and technical briefs for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of research manuscripts, conference submissions, and patent filings.
- Manage project timelines, track deliverables, and coordinate communication among cross‑functional team members.

Required Qualifications

- Proficiency in statistical software (Python, R, SPSS) and data‑management tools (SQL, Excel, Google Sheets).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with research ethics, IRB processes, and data‑privacy compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

Desired Skills
- Experience with machine‑learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and large‑scale data pipelines.
