Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities For Sales Support Administrator (WFH)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the sales team, handling order entry, contract administration, and quote generation in Salesforce CPQ.
- Validate and process sales orders, ensuring accuracy of pricing, discounts, and product configurations before submission to finance.
- Maintain and update customer and prospect data, guaranteeing data integrity across CRM, ERP, and ancillary sales tools.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, providing insights on pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and revenue trends.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional partners—including legal, finance, and product operations—to resolve order exceptions, contract issues, and fulfillment challenges.
- Assist in onboarding new sales representatives by delivering training on sales support processes, tools, and best practices.
- Monitor and manage the sales support ticketing system, prioritizing requests and ensuring timely resolution.
- Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives by documenting process gaps and recommending automation opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales support, order management, or inside sales within a technology or SaaS environment.
- Proven proficiency with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce CPQ; experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) is a plus.
- Strong analytical abilities with a track record of producing accurate reports and data visualizations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting professionally with internal stakeholders and external clients.
- High degree of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced remote setting.
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools such as DocuSign or Conga.
- Experience using business intelligence platforms like Tableau or Power BI for reporting.
- Knowledge of subscription‑based billing models and revenue recognition principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in cloud‑based sales applications.
- Certification in Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201) or related credentials.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual base salary range: $68,000 to $84,000, dependent on experience and location within the United States.
