Key Responsibilities
- Research, write, and edit high‑quality SEO‑focused blog posts, guides, landing pages, and resource content that align with HubSpot’s brand voice and target audience.
- Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and search intent mapping to identify content opportunities that support traffic and lead‑generation goals.
- Collaborate with SEO strategists, product marketers, designers, and subject‑matter experts to ensure content is optimized for search engines and user experience.
- Implement on‑page SEO best practices, including meta titles, descriptions, header structures, internal linking, and schema markup.
- Monitor content performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and Ahrefs; generate insights and recommend iterative improvements.
- Maintain a content calendar, adhere to publishing deadlines, and contribute to the overall editorial strategy.
- Stay current with industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging content formats to keep HubSpot’s SEO strategy ahead of the curve.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience writing SEO‑focused content for B2B or SaaS audiences.
- Proven track record of producing content that ranks on the first page of Google for competitive keywords.
- Strong command of AP style, grammar, and the ability to adapt tone for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or similar platforms.
- Ability to analyze data, draw actionable conclusions, and communicate findings clearly.
- Excellent time‑management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Desired Skills
- Experience with content management systems (e.g., HubSpot CMS, WordPress).
- Knowledge of technical SEO fundamentals, including site architecture and page speed optimization.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS basics for on‑page editing.
- Background in conversion rate optimization and A/B testing.

Compensation & Benefits
- Annual base salary range: $78,000 to $105,000, dependent on experience and location (San Francisco Bay Area market).
