Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients seeking nutrition guidance, triaging inquiries and scheduling virtual appointments with registered dietitians.
- Collect and verify patient health information, dietary histories, and lab results through secure telehealth portals.
- Assist dietitians in preparing personalized nutrition plans, educational materials, and follow‑up reminders.
- Manage electronic health record (EHR) documentation, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Respond to patient questions via chat, video, or phone in a timely, empathetic manner, escalating complex cases to senior clinicians as needed.
- Track key performance metrics such as appointment adherence, patient satisfaction scores, and service utilization, providing regular reports to the Nutrition Services Manager.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing ideas to enhance workflow efficiency and patient experience.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Health Sciences, or a related field; current registration as a dietetic technician or similar credential preferred.
- Minimum of 1‑2 years experience in a clinical or telehealth setting, with proven ability to handle patient communications remotely.
- Strong knowledge of nutrition science, chronic disease dietary management, and evidence‑based counseling techniques.
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms, electronic health records (e.g., Epic, Cerner), and basic office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity, empathy, and cultural competence.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate patient schedules across time zones.

Desired Skills
- Experience with population health programs or chronic disease management initiatives.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for reporting.
- Certification as a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) or similar advanced credential.
- Multilingual abilities, particularly Spanish or Mandarin, to serve diverse patient populations.

Compensation & Benefits
- Annual base salary range: $55,000 to $85,000, dependent on experience and location (San Francisco Bay Area market).
