Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of content strategies that support Apple’s product and service experiences across iOS, macOS, watchOS, and web platforms.
- Conduct user research, content audits, and competitive analyses to identify gaps and opportunities for clearer, more engaging user‑focused content.
- Partner with UX designers, product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to create, test, and iterate microcopy, UI text, onboarding flows, and help content that aligns with Apple’s brand voice and accessibility standards.
- Create and maintain content guidelines, style guides, and pattern libraries that scale across multiple product lines and international markets.
- Use data‑driven insights and analytics to measure content performance, inform optimizations, and report impact on key metrics such as task success, error rates, and user satisfaction.
- Advocate for inclusive language and accessibility, ensuring all content meets WCAG 2.2 AA criteria and supports diverse user needs.
- Mentor junior content designers and contribute to a collaborative, cross‑functional design culture.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human‑Computer Interaction, Communication, Journalism, Linguistics, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in UX writing, content strategy, or related roles within a technology or consumer‑focused environment.
- Proven track record of delivering end‑to‑end content solutions for complex, multi‑platform products.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, user‑centered content design, and measurable outcomes.
- Expertise in content management systems, design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD), and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and consistency.

- Experience working in agile, cross‑functional product teams.
- Knowledge of localization processes and ability to work with global translation partners.
- Familiarity with voice UI and conversational design principles.
- Understanding of SEO best practices as they relate to product content.
- Ability to conduct usability testing and synthesize findings into actionable content improvements.

Compensation & Benefits
- Annual base salary range: $130,000 – $165,000, dependent on experience and location (San Francisco Bay Area).
