Key Responsibilities
Key Responsiblities For Virtual HR Assistant
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries via phone, email, and chat, delivering timely and accurate information on policies, benefits, and payroll.
- Maintain and update employee records in HRIS (Workday) ensuring data integrity and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Coordinate onboarding and off‑boarding processes, including preparation of welcome kits, system access provisioning, and exit interviews.
- Assist managers with performance management cycles, tracking goal setting, mid‑year reviews, and calibration meetings.
- Generate routine HR reports and analytics on turnover, headcount, and employee engagement metrics.
- Schedule and facilitate virtual HR training sessions and webinars for staff at all levels.
- Support benefits administration by processing enrollments, changes, and answering benefits‑related questions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and Legal to resolve complex employee issues.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve virtual HR service delivery and recommend process enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR support or administrative role, preferably in a remote or virtual environment.
- Proficiency with HR information systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer‑service orientation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
Desired Skills
- Certification such as SHRM‑CP or PHR.
- Experience with virtual collaboration tools (Zoom, Slack, Teams).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) for reporting.
- Prior exposure to large‑scale, tech‑focused organizations.
- Fluency in a second language is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual Salary Range: $58,000 – $78,000, based on experience, education, and geographic location.
