Key Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering managers and senior leaders to understand hiring needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies for software development, data engineering, and infrastructure roles.
- Source candidates through a variety of channels including LinkedIn, GitHub, professional forums, and niche talent communities, ensuring a diverse pipeline.
- Conduct virtual screening interviews, assess technical competencies, and evaluate cultural fit against Microsoft’s core values.
- Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle, from initial outreach through offer negotiation and onboarding, while maintaining a high candidate experience score.
- Utilize Microsoft’s applicant tracking system (ATS) and data analytics tools to track metrics, forecast hiring demand, and continuously improve recruitment processes.
- Collaborate with the broader recruiting team to share best practices, contribute to employer branding initiatives, and support campus and community outreach programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 3 years of full‑cycle technical recruiting experience, preferably for software engineering or data science positions.
- Proven success in remote or virtual recruiting environments, demonstrating the ability to build relationships and close hires without face‑to‑face interaction.
- Strong knowledge of technical roles, programming languages, and development methodologies to effectively evaluate candidate expertise.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of delivering offers that meet both candidate expectations and business objectives.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously while meeting aggressive hiring timelines.

- Experience recruiting for cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) or AI/ML teams.
- Familiarity with advanced sourcing tools such as Boolean search, X-ray techniques, and AI‑driven talent platforms.
