Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive accessibility audits of web applications, portals, and public‑facing sites using WCAG 2.2, Section 508, and other relevant standards.
- Produce detailed audit reports that identify violations, prioritize remediation, and provide clear, actionable recommendations for developers and designers.
- Perform manual testing with assistive technologies such as screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver), keyboard‑only navigation, and mobile accessibility tools.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to verify that remediation work meets accessibility criteria and maintains functional integrity.
- Develop and maintain audit checklists, testing scripts, and documentation to standardize the audit process across product groups.
- Educate engineering and design teams through workshops, office hours, and training sessions on best practices for accessible web development.
- Track and report on accessibility metrics, compliance status, and progress toward corporate accessibility goals.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human‑Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience conducting web accessibility audits for large‑scale, enterprise‑level applications.
- Proven expertise with WCAG 2.1/2.2, ARIA, Section 508, and accessibility testing tools (e.g., axe, WAVE, Lighthouse).
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern front‑end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
- Ability to write clear, concise audit reports and communicate technical findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating with development teams in Agile environments to drive remediation.

Desired Skills
- Certifications such as IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility (CPACC) or Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS).
- Familiarity with inclusive design principles and user research involving people with disabilities.
- Experience with automated testing pipelines and CI/CD integration for accessibility checks.
- Knowledge of mobile accessibility standards for iOS and Android platforms.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $100,000 to $135,000 annually, commensurate with experience and location (Seattle, WA).
